In Munkolo Basic School, more than 3000 learners struggled daily with limited and unsafe water sources, which affected their wellbeing, attendance, and overall academic performance. To address this challenge, the Dawah/Social Welfare Unit of Makeni Islamic Society Trust, with the generous support of its donors and well-wishers, has successfully installed a new borehole equipped with a reliable hand pump.
This project is more than just supplying water—it is about reviving hope, restoring dignity, and ensuring that every child has access to a clean, safe, and healthy environment that supports effective learning. The new water facility stands as a symbol of mercy, compassion, and community support, transforming the lives of the entire school community.
